Decked out with a distinctive Edelbrock air cleaner and a pair of Keystone valve covers, the powerplant is looking sharp, and with aftermarket heads, a hi-rise polished intake and an Edelbrock carb in tow, it's packing plenty of power. A 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission pairs up nicely with a 3.89 ratio rear end to provide strong off the line acceleration without winding highway speed revs up too far. There's quite an array of new components on board, including a new water pump, radiator, timing gears, gas tank, fuel lines, distributor and batter, so this vintage Ford also excels as far as road-readiness is concerned. Smooth power steering makes it an easy navigator as it cruises on its set of 15" Cragar wheels that are wrapped with Sigma Supreme tires up front and Goodrich T/A radials in back.
