Used 1953 MG TD for sale in Winston Salem, NC

This automobile is in excellent condition with matching serial numbers. The car has been garaged for the last 10 years and by the previous owner who had the engine rebuilt just prior to purchase with 500 miles on it. The main seal was evidently not properly installed so the engine was pulled and some additional work completed, including replacing the main seal. Brakes have been relined and a new plywood flooring installed. The body is in great shape with no sign of rust and the paint is like new as is the tonneau cover and the top. An oil temperature gauge appears to have been installed sometime in the past. It appears to be stock on the automobile since the dash seems to have included it in the design. The tires are like new and show little wear and a new battery was recently installed. The car was a gift at retirement and the last 10 years have been spent tweaking its restoration and not driving it. The rings are just about seated with less than 600 miles on the rebuilt engine. The next step planned was for replacing the wiring harness since the gas tank switch does not work and much of the under dash wiring looks original and is thus 66 years old. The car runs well and drives well. The car is fun to drive and turns more heads than a corvette.
