Vehicle Description
Drives like a Cobra, priced like a Healy.
This 100/4 was purpose built in the 1960’s for street-and-strip action and is said to have competed at the Irwindale Dragstrip in Southern California. Expertly restored by an aerospace engineer over three decades, it houses a Chevy 5.7 liter, (350 cu. in.) 4 bolt main short block. Fully balanced, fitted with early high compression camel hump “Fuelie” heads, a Competition Cams bump stick, topped by and Edelbrock performer manifold and matching 750cfm carburetor w/electric choke. Finned aluminum valve covers and air cleaner housing provide period correct looks. Spent gasses exit via a set of headers into a dual exhaust with hi pro mufflers and dual chrome tips. Power output is 375 horse. It employs a Muncie M21 close ratio transmission and a freeway flyer 4th gear. At the tail end of the driveshaft sits a bullet proof ‘66 Chevelle Pumpkin with tall 3:08 final ratio, located by leaf springs and aided by a set of air shocks.
Currently registered with original six digit blue and gold plates.
2021- New master cylinder, breaks, alignment. Fully restored custom radiator. New alternator, battery killer switch and coolant reservoir.
Free of rust and bondo.
