Vehicle Description
The Paint: Robins Egg Blue/Shoreline Beige, base/coat, clear/coat The Engine: 261 CID (bored to 270 CID) 6-cylinder, well built with a Detroit 8V-53 Supercharger, producing approximately 300 horsepower. The Transmission: GM TH200/4R automatic with overdrive, column shift The Differential:1955 Chevrolet, Posi-traction The Suspension: Independent front, leaf spring rear, new shocks lowered stance The Interior: Beige vinyl and blue tweed, maintaining the original style patterns, matching door panels, carpeting, and headliner Original Dash and all functioning instruments All light work including the turn signals Windshield wipers work Heater works Power front disc brakes Manual steering All of the glass is nice Windshield visor Smoothed front and rear bumpers and custom chrome grill 15” Polished American 5 spoke wheels with newer radials all around Clean dry, no-rust undercarriage Dual exhaust This is one of the coolest 1954 Chevy's you will find anywhere. The Robins Egg blue paint with the India Ivory above the trim line absolutely “Pops”! The car sits nice and low with the perfect “Hotrod” rake-stance on those Polished Americans with a subtle, yet thoughtful amount of trim to highlight the character lines of this magnificent 210. All of this before you can even pop the hood to reveal the very strong running “6-Gun” engine ready for business with it's dual 500cfm Holley's wrapped in a jaw-dropping big Detroit Supercharger. Hard to get much cooler than that. The engine is nicely documented in terms of it's build, and sports some nice vintage looking pieces such as the “Wayne” valve cover, and polished blower housing. This particular Chev was built to drive as it has an updated overdrive automatic transmission, comfortable interior, power brakes, fully functioning instrument cluster, and accessories. All of the tinted glass is nice, the windows roll up and down easily, and all of the trim and bright work is excellent. The Trunk compartment is clean and finished, and accommodates the battery in a side compartment, near a cut-off which for security. This is the very last year of this body style, and with all of the subtle (except for that engine) custom touches this Chevy has to offer, this is truly one of the finest, and “one of a kind” '54 Chevy's you will come across. Beautiful!
