Used 1954 Kaiser 2-Dr Sedan for sale in State College, PA

This RARE 1954 Kaiser (Early) Manhattan (IT'S A 4-door!!!!) had a frame off restoration starting in 2001 and ending in 2008 when the the owner died. It's been sitting every since. I have a complete notebook featuring photos he took along the way -- including the photo he took when he first saw the car in 2001. The Kaiser registration number is: K545020699. This Kaiser is commonly referred to as an "early" 1954 Manhattan, as Kaiser did use many leftover 1953 parts to build the first Manhattans coming off the '54 line. Looking through Kaiser Frazer club records, there are fewer than 70 of these registered. Most not registered are rusty and in fields. Only about 1300 total were built. This one has had a full off frame restoration, and while rough in spots, the interior is in very good shape. IT IS ORIGINAL. PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND! Also keep in mind that all the really hard work has been done to this beauty. The car drives extremely well. No problem hitting 70mph on the highway and is QUIET. It is helped by an overdrive (factory installed option) that can be engaged over 28mph. Really smooths it out It has the straight Kaiser V6 with Overdrive (which was an option. The interior is the original "bamboo" interior. The car is VERY original. It has recently had a new fuel pump, ignition coil, 6v battery, sparks and distributor added. The car also has numerous additional parts and molding and trim that was not added. Also, door locks and Manhattan badges and emblems. The radio does NOT work and the speed-o cable (which was disconnecting recently to complete under the hood) needs reconnected. All other electrical works great. The driver's side window does have a crack. We have located a replacement window in upstate NY, or you can replace it yourself. I will be adding pictures over the next few days. I welcome people to come see it. And drive it. I am also pricing this to sell it. I do not need any help selling the car and am happy to send you video of the car driving and running. THIS CAR IS MECHANICALLY AWESOME. If you want to put the McCullough Supercharger in it, it can be easily done. I had no interest in paying the $1000. In OD, this car makes up for some of the 22 HP you get from the McCullough Supercharger. I wanted to keep the car original. I own it. Have the Transfer for the NY registration. Title was redone in probate. I can help with transport and will deliver free within 150 miles of State College, PA. If you know what other K-Z owners know, and Wayne Carini -- "Chasing Classic Cars" -- (who recently purchased this same year and model but with the supercharger during Season 12 for his personal collection), you realize that I have priced this fairly.
