Vehicle Description
With bold paint and an upgraded V8, this 1955 Chevrolet 210 sedan has some attitude. But with added comfort on everything from the A/C interior to an overdrive transmission, this one proves it's an all-around great classic. This one makes a bold first impression. Sure, we all take notice of an iconic '55 Chevy, but the paint on this one is an instant standout. There was never a blue this bold from the factory back then, and the crisp white in this two-tone sets it apart even further. Chevy did some artful chrome on this sedan, and so it's great to see it all complete today. It includes the wraparound bumpers, a jet-inspired hood ornament, and a great trim package that now separates these two paint colors. And we love the polished wheel covers with classic whitewall tires. It's a total package that announces to the world that this is quite vintage but unmistakably upgraded. When you open the door, the same bold blue and white continues on the seats, door panels, and dash to create a terrific uniform two-tone inside and out. You get all the right classic pieces like plenty of bright trim, a dual cowl dash, and a roomy interior with ample space for family and friends. But just like the exterior, you can spot some well integrated upgrades, too. The radio is now a retro-style AM/FM/cassette stereo with a CD changer and digital tuner, and you stay comfortable with modern R134a air conditioning. Plus, the driving expertise was clearly upgraded. You have smaller diameter wheel that keeps the classic style, and it's now mounted on a tilt column. Plus, the auxiliary gauge trio, column-mounted tach, and Hurst floor shifter let you know there's something special under the hood. This V8 looks nice with the polished air topper, valve covers, alternator, intake, and more radiating within the dark engine bay. This is a 350 cubic-inch motor, which was larger than any small block offered in the Tri-Five era. It inhales deeply with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with authority as headers feed the dual exhaust. Plus, it has a ton of great supporting components, like a transmission cooler, electric fan, and upgraded pulleys. If this sounds like the recipe for a great cruiser, then you'll also love upgrades like the tight CPP power steering box and 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive that was installed in 2014. Complete with build receipts, owner's manual, and service manuals, this is the classic '55 Chevy that already has the right upgrades to be bolder and run stronger. So you know it makes for a truly desirable classic. Call today!!!
