This color combination is perhaps the most unusual and desirable of all the Fairlanes. The original 272cid V8 engine and 3-speed overdrive transmission have been completely restored as well. This vehicle is a multiple award winner at concours events and is finished to original factory specifications. Recent and perhaps most prestigious award is a Senior National First Prize awarded by the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA).About 6 years ago it was donated for viewing at Ford Motor Company Corporate Headquarters Museum for approximately three years.
