Upholstery is “old school” tuck & roll.

History:
The car was purchased from the original owner in 1992, it then went through a “ frame on” restoration. The car was already in decent shape with only 67,000 miles on it, so a“ frame off” restoration wasn’t called for. All the glass is original! The doors have a confident sound when they close. Same for trunk & hood! The weekend after they finished the car. They drove it to a Classic Chevy International Convention in Pleasanton, Ca ( over 300 miles away), and has won countless awards through the years. Currently the car has 80,661 miles

My take away:
It is hard to believe that this restoration is close to 30 years old. The care, and attention to detail are evident everywhere one looks.
The paint, and Chrome look amazing, and the interior still looks brand new.
This is a totally drivable show car with legs. The engine build was planned to be a “ show & go” and not a “ one pass wonder” In my research I have been pleasantly surprised that all the after market parts are still readily available, of high quality. Yes it’s garage kept, has a custom California car cover, a battery tender, and fussed over since it’s rebirth . The last few years it only cruises the neighborhood on a weekly basis. This car has been a source of pride and joy for the family.

So why sell?
Alas “time waits for no man” so for the aging owner keeping up with the Chevy is starting to be a more strenuous vs. joyful task.
