Vehicle Description
All vehicle trades considered, including classics and performance. I can assist with financing and transport as needed. The 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air is one of the most iconic images in the automotive world. The bullet front grille, bombsight hood ornaments, wonderful use of chrome, wraparound windows, and those perfect tail fins! If you’ve got one on your radar then take a look at this restored example. This clean California car had a complete frame-off restoration in 2004. The frame was cleaned up and painted, while the body received red oxide primer underneath and high quality Matador Red paint above. All chrome was reconditioned or replaced. Glass, seals, and window felts were all redone. All the things you’d expect out of a thorough restoration. The polished wheels and Firestone Firehawk tires were also added to give a sporty look. The last owner wanted a little more performance so he had the engine replaced with a new 350ci GM crate motor in 2013. This is a reliable street motor producing just over 300hp. It starts easily, has a smooth idle, and is a great fit for a car like this one. So is the TH350 automatic transmission. The car was also upgraded with power front disc brakes and power steering for ease of operation. The interior was completely redone as well and looks terrific. The dash and steering wheel are classic Bel Air including the fancy steering wheel and working clock. The digital radio blends right in as well. The bench front seat and matching rear received new foam and seat covers and are quite comfortable. Note seat belts have been added as well. All items work as they should including the wipers, horn, and heater. This really is a sharp, high quality car and a great example of a true American classic. It is one of those cars everyone will want to stop and talk about. And it is complete and ready to go, inside and out, top and bottom; all the new owner has to do is drive and enjoy.
