1957 Ford Thunderbird Convertible 312 V-8 Automatic is more than a 'Barn-Find' owner of 58 years! These types are opportunities to find a perfectly documented first generation Thunderbird. The original 312 engine and factory installed optional Automatic Transmission are original to the car and match the option code on the VIN plaque. The vehicle runs and shifts smooth as designed. The exterior body and paint is in exceptional condition. Could assume original paint because of its history, experts indicate a possible period correct (pre 1970's) repaint. The panels fit, finish and door gaps all indicate no accident history the vehicle retains its original factory sheet metal. Chrome and trim are in original and unrestored condition, and present in excellent condition. Original factory Interior (not aftermarket replacement) and shows no indication of excessive wear and tear. The trim, dash, carpet, door panels are in very acceptable condition and show no signs of being ever replaced or removed. The underside of is truly remarkable and remains in original condition. This underside would be considered rust free with no soft spots or holes and are all factory original floor pans.
