Retractable Hardtop The electrically-controlled raising and lowering mechanism is totally automatic from the unlocking mechanism at the windshield until the top is completely stowed beneath the trunk lid. At the turn of the key the engine comes to life and runs properly. Transmission The car’s original Cruise-O-Matic transmission works smoothly and properly, and was rebuilt during restoration. Brakes The brakes on the Ford bring it to a safe stop without any pulling from side to side.
