Fully restored Bugeye Sprite. My passion started back when I factory ordered a brand new Cherry Red Frogeye! After enjoying it and moving on to other cars, I still yearned for a Sprite and sought out to find and restore a similar car. Success came in finding this rust free Florida car which had been always garaged and cared for. After a no-holds back restoration, completed by select professionals in Southern California for Paint, Engine & Drive train and finally Upholstery the results were exceptional - an original looking and authentic driving car with more Spritely zip than ever before! - Upgraded Engine is a British BMC 1275cc engine professionally rebuilt to high horsepower Mini Cooper S racing specs, which makes the car very spirited, but yet authentic. - Matched to a professionally rebuilt Ribcase BMC gearbox 'Gold Seal' from Sports & Classics. (Original engine and gearbox included at no added cost). Paint was carefully sourced to original factory paint supplier ICI to correct Cherry Red Bugeye Factory colour. Complete new interior, new Wire Wheels, Front Disc brakes, new upgraded wooden steering wheel (original steering wheel included), new sliding shutters, new convertible top, new tires and new battery. Includes tonneau cover, new wire wheel spare tire, luggage rack, air horns, original jack, and a repair manual. After owning Jaguars and Porches, I still find the Sprite the most fun car to get behind the wheel! Again it is time to make room in the garage and let the next caretaker enjoy.
