Used 1960 Chevrolet Corvair for sale in Pacific Grove, CA

I am selling my Corvair to fund a project car for my son and I. This blue 1960 Chevrolet, Corvair is a great driver, starts every time and runs really smooth. It could be used as a daily driver however, I use it only on the weekends. It is a very early 700 coupe and one of the first off the production line in May 1960. It has been. local all of it's life mostly in San Jose and then for 17 years in San Luis Obispo prior to me buying it. It has had a restoration by previous owner including bodywork and engine and some interior. I have completed some minor cosmetic work myself and she presents very well. Interior has been re-covered, new headliner and door cards. The original stereo is installed but not working but looks cool. There is some minor damage/blemishes to some of the chrome work but these do not detract from the look, just due to the cars age. The flat six is running great and pulls well and the 2 speed Hydromatic transmission is smooth. It has the original gas heater in the front, which is rare and a good spare wheel. These were pretty controversial when they were released especially the early ones and have a cool history, so will only appreciate in value. I'm happy to sell or trade for a VW Bus project or an older truck (Ford F100 etc) with cash either way. Other similar cars in this condition are up for sale at 10K up so this really is a good buy, and well worth taking a look.
