This 1960 Chevrolet Impala was purchased new on January 18, 1960 from Hays Chevrolet on Central Ave. in Staunton, Virginia by Stuart W. Fitzgerald. He was the sole owner of the car until he traded it in on a new car in 2013. The Chevrolet Dealer kept the car & the original title on displayed in their showroom. In 2015/2016 the Staunton Chevrolet Dealership closed it's doors and the inventory of new and used vehicles were sold to Weimer Chevrolet in Moorefield, WV. Mr. Fitzgerald lived to the ripe age of 95 years old and passed away in 2015. The interior of the car is original and the 57,000 miles are original. A 283 cu in, 2BBL engine. The car was garage kept.
