Cooper Classics has the honor of presenting what we think may be the nicest XK150 DHC on the market. This 1960 DHC recently scored 999.5/1000 and won “Best of Class” at a 2019 Jaguar Club North America Concours event, with the evidence to back it up. In 2011, this already excellent XK150 was the lucky recipient of a concours level restoration by Marque Specialists Muncie Imports from 2011-2013. The car was stripped to bare metal and repainted during this restoration, which is documented with photos during the process. The car comes with all documentation from the restoration in a Binder. Also included is a copy of the Heritage Certificate, which confirms the numbers and colors on the car. The car is documented on XKData.com prior to the restoration, showing it’s excellent condition before the restoration occurred. The new owner simply wanted the best XK150 out there, so he took the car to the next level, and the car is as new. The car runs and drives excellently, benefitting from recent servicing to the restoration. During the restoration an A/C system was installed, at an expense of approximately $25,000. The car was converted to 12 volt negative ground. The car has new wire wheels, and was given a beautiful burl wood dash panel. The original panel comes included with the car, along with many spare parts and parts that were replaced during the restoration. The car comes with a complete tool kit, jack, spare, copy of Heritage certificate, manuals, and a full documentation of the restoration.
