Ultra Motorsports is very pleased to offer this very attractive and very well kept 1961 Chris Craft Skier. If you are looking for the styling of a vintage boat with less maintenance. This boat has all the looks, and runs perfectly. At Ultra Motorsports we are not boat experts. Please contact us directly if you have specific questions. A very well documented complete restoration was performed on this vehicle about 10 years ago. There are numerous photos of the boat in various stages and many receipts. During the restoration, a fiberglass bottom was bonded to the boat from the waterline down. While some Chris Craft enthusiasts may view this as a negative, there is a strong argument for this system being low maintenance and user friendly. This boat also has some modern day touches that detract very little from the look of the boat, but add to the usability. There is a teak swim platform on the boat. This is great when at the sandbar or covering the boat in the water. There are also trim tabs on the boat. These definitely improve the performance of the boat and do not detract from the vintage look. The interior of the boat has a vintage styling. If you were not a Chris Craft expert, you would assume it was the original styling. The interior is in very good condition. The chrome is excellent. The trim is excellent. The sides of the boat were varnished two years ago. The topside of the boat shows well, but could use varnish if this were to be a showpiece. The ORIGINAL 283 V8 engine was completely restored and is running perfectly. This boat has been used barely 200 hours in the ten years since restoration. Included with the sale are all bumpers, life vests, ropes, and two covers. A trailer with new tires is also included. The Chris Craft flag and the American flag are also with the boat.
