At the center of the engine compartment, a 351 cubic inch Cleveland V8 sits in place of the original motor. True to the sterling reputation it earned over the years, the engine starts right up and runs strong as it sends a nice, subtle note out of its dual Flowmaster exhaust. Just behind the 351 is a 3-speed automatic C6 transmission that shifts very smoothly and features a cooler for added durability in more extreme driving conditions. A relatively new aluminum radiator also sits up front to guard against overheating.
