Over its 22 years of production, the Mercury Monterey served as the flagship, mid-range, and entry-level offering of the full-size Mercury product range. This is the only Mercury name to be in continuous production throughout the 1960s. In 1961 the Monterey styling was revamped, with headlights that are more separated and a stylish concave grille that resembled 1960 cars as well as the very popular Thunderbird-style roofline. This 1962 Mercury Monterey sport coupe is unrestored and finished in a factory color of Teaberry. It’s powered by a 352ci V8 engine backed by a Merc-O-Matic automatic transmission and equipped with power steering and power brakes. The chrome and trim are in good condition.
