Vehicle Description
1963 Oldsmobile Cutlass F-85 – For Sale – Pittsburgh PA
For your consideration is a beautiful Olds Cutlass F-85. This restyled Cutlass for ’63 is powered by a very unique 215 cubic inch aluminum V-8 with ultra high compression. At almost 11:1 compression, this little efficient V-8 cranks out around 200 snappy and fun horse power. Which is plenty to pull around a compact GM Y-body. Below I will describe the condition of the car.
Exterior: The Saddle Mist body and Provincial White roof have had an older repaint. The paint isn’t exceptionally glossy but it looks good on the car. The paint could be buffed out for more shine if the new owner wanted. There are a few spots of surface rust that have been touched up but nothing overly concerning. The glass, trim, door handles, bumpers and emblems are all in very nice condition! There appears to be no excessive body work, damage or corrosion. I took many pictures so you can see the paint in the sun light and in the shade. Also some photos show the car with and also without the fender skirts.
Interior: Bucket seats, floor shift and air conditioning help make the inside of this car very cool! In very nice condition, some of the upholstery has been restored but the interior remains largely original. The dash, headliner and door panels appear original to the car. The carpet and seat covers appear to have been replaced but are the original style.
Mechanical: This is the portion that really should put a smile on anyone’s face! With its very high compression, the aluminum engine fires to life and you can just hear the potent 10.75:1 engine eager to run with fury! The car starts, idles, and runs great. It is very strong running, smooth shifting, great steering and breaking as well. All around this car is a great cruiser. Fly in and drive home.
Underside: Stock with no modifications or signs of damage or corrosion!
