Vehicle Description
This car was an automatic, but was converted to a manual 4 on the floor. It had a racing engine and was raced in the 1/4 mile. Racing engine was blown. It now has a new 383 Stroker with less than a 1000 miles. There are a lot of high end components. It rides great and is very fast. Have original manual and Protection Plan. 79 Grand Prix outer tie rod ends. 70-79 Camaro (Firebird) upper and lower ball joints. Offset upper control arm shaft 68-72 GTO. 1 3/8 front and rear sway bars. 16" x 4 3/4 back spacing centerline billet hammers. MSD 6A ignition kit for GM H.E.I. Melling high volume oil pump. HVX Thrush mufflers. And more. This car is a lot of fun to drive. Interior is good, but could use restoring. If I were going to keep it I was planning on restoring, but have left it since, in my opinion, restoration of the interior it personal. So, you will need to decide if you like the seats, color, what type of radio and speakers, color of headliner, carpet, original steering wheel or racing wheel, etc. I am restoring another vehicle, 1950 Ford F1, and am no longer a muscle car person at my age. More of a cruising guy. Gets a lot of looks and thumbs up. One frustration is how slow people drive, especially in the left lane when I want to punch it and blow by everyone. Anyway, let me know your questions.
