Vehicle Description
Starting with a rust free donor car, this high end tribute car was built in Texas over a six year period. Completed four years ago, it is ready for its next owner to race, show, love and pamper. Vintage leftover crate drivetrain was used. The 1965 hi rise tunnel port 427 V-8 was located new and complete, fan to transmission and dual carbs to oil pan. Car was built by Motion Dynamics in Texas. A rust free, 63K mile donor car was locate, bead blasted, sealed and repainted. New parts were purchased from well know suppliers that specialize in Thunderbolt parts. The decision was made to really completely rebuild the vintage drivetrain adding some of today's improved technology. Started with an unused 1965 Ford 427 high rise tunnel port engine, correct dual Holley four barrel carbs, and correct C-6 automatic transmission. Blueprinted and balanced. 13.5 to 1 compression 10.39 1/4 mile at 136MPH Dyno at 600 HP / 600 lbs of torque Original door panels, seat upholstery, & headliner in very nice condition. Fill roll cage and TBolt quick release seats. Quick release racing seat, racing wheel and original steering wheel. New chrome bumpers and very nice original chrome & stainless. Fuel cell and dual batteries in the trunk compartment.
