The beautiful Grand Prix interior is original with new loop carpeting and floor insulation front to rear. This interior is from my grandfather's '64 GP that he bought new as a personal retirement gift to himself ( even as a kid I was blown away with pride). He drove it for 21 years. It was his last car and the body and frame rusted out fighting Maine's salted winter roads. But the interior remained like new. I removed the entire dash and complete interior and stored it all inside my house for 15 years ( just ask my wife ) while waiting for the time and the car for transplant. Excellent pleated black Morrokide throughout. Beautiful chrome and real wood inserts. Flawless padded dash. Original floor mats. Factory dash tach and console mounted vacuum gauge. Everything works including the 'super deluxe' push button radio and rear seat center speaker. The clock is rebuilt to accurate with the original 'click' (not a repro quartz movement). I added USA made Auto Meter gauges and an AM/FM/CD in tasteful vinyl covered and matching-sized enclosures. I have road proven and enjoyed this car for 19 years.
