Vehicle Description
This truck will turn some heads when you drive it down the street and attract plenty of attention at car shows. It's looking good dressed up in Black and Chrome with an aggressive stance that is all hunkered down over those 20s, and wait 'til you see what is waiting for you on the inside. Check it out. The classic lines of a '65 C10 makes it a popular truck to modify and trick out. But few of those projects get the kind of results this one achieved. The Black paint catches the light reflecting it back like a mirror, and its all the more dramatic if it's moving down the boulevard at night while that's happening. The hood flows down to the clean looking front end consisting of a chrome eggcrate grill with Chevrolet lettered across the top in black which is underlined by a simple chrome bumper. The roof forms a crisp clean line both front and rear and a polished metal panel dresses out the cab just behind the door. The inside of the bed is a work of art in wood, chrome and paint. The tailgate has Chevrolet lettering embossed into it, is flanked by small round taillights, and is underlined by another sharp looking chrome bumper. When you go to open the door on this truck, be ready to be impressed by a sweet looking custom interior done in two-tone Gray and Black leather. The door panel itself starts the show with a rectangular upholstered panel stitched both horizontally and vertically with splashes of chrome. The seats carry the same contrasting look but a bit more dramatically with angled pleated seating surfaces and smooth side bolsters. A 4-spoke steering wheel with a bowtie center button is mounted on a tilt column along with the shifter for the automatic transmission. The dash is simple and spotless with a horizontal speedo flanked by small temp and fuel gauges at either end. Ventilation controls include those for air conditioning to keep you cool on those hot summer days. Chevrolet is lettered onto the glove box lid and the whole cab is trimmed out to match with fresh new carpeting tying everything together. Pop the hood and you will find a 350 cubic inch motor nestled down in a neat and clean engine bay. It is a simple but super clean presentation and that motor is put together well and runs great! A chrome Edelbrock air filter assembly sits on top of a Brawler 4-barrel carburetor with an Edelbrock intake manifold. Polished aluminum valve covers have Chevrolet lettered into them and the spent exhaust gasses are extracted through Hedman headers then out through Flowmaster mufflers. Power flows back through a 3-speed automatic transmission then out to a 12-bolt rear end located by trailing arms and mounted on coil springs. Up front control arms and coil springs work with the power steering and power front disc brakes to provide good handling and stopping power. The rubber meets the road through 295/40R20s in the back and 275/40R20s in the front mounted on those sweet looking 5-spoke 20" alloys. This truck looks awesome dressed up in Black and Chrome. It runs awesome too and also sounds great with headers and Flowmasters pumping out the mechanical tunes. Come on down and check this truck out. Then drive it home and turn some heads as you roll down the street.
