1965 Ford Mustang Coupe Numbers Matching Restored 289 v8 Factory Air (works great) Exceptional Quality car Gorgeous driver Has a few small things that keep it from being a sure enough big show car Runs extremely well, would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. Had a full restoration done about 20 years ago, then subsequently spent the next 20 years stored away, being driven once or twice a month, in a warehouse in a collection. I aquired the car about a year ago and have driven it, maintained it, repaired the minor things that happens when time passes on a car, rubber lines and such. It has about 7k miles on its restoration, Everything else works very well. In the picture you will see a big ugly distributor and gaudy yellow plug wires, I have the original distributor with points setup, I just wanted to not have to worry about fiddling with points every few weeks so I put in the JEGS StreetNStrip HEI style distributor. You will also notice that the stock air cleaner and pan are not attached to the car, this is due to the excessive size of the HEI distributor, I have them, they are in very good shape, and come with the car as well.
