Vehicle Description
1965 Ford Mustang White 289 V-8 4 Speed Convertible DGC6184 VIN 5R08C196184. This is one beautiful Mustang. Very straight body and excellent paint. It's white with blue interior and blue top. All the chrome and trim is excellent. Style steel wheels with white wall radial tires with good tread. I have receipts back to 1997 showing some of the work that has been done over the years. It looks like the Mustang was hit way back at some time on the left side. The inner fender where the VIN # should be has been replaced so no VIN. Bel-Kirk Mustang lifted the right front fender to verify the VIN # 5R08C196184 on Aug.1, 2018 ( see in photos ) Also no door tag, so I assume that the driver's door was replaced too. I have to tell you whoever did the work really did it well, you can not tell anything was done. That was one thing I was hopping to find in the receipts...when and who did the work, but no receipts. So this was done before 1997 and the last 2 owners. The last owner owned it since 2011 and in the photos you can see all the work that he performed. This Mustang is set up with 289 V-8 engine. It had a noise I was not sure of and the last owner said it was always there but to make sure I had Joe, at Old School Garage, check it out when he did the service and safety check. Joe was very thorough in his survey. Read what Joe found in the photos in his bill. He also said it had a 302 crankshaft. Joe replaced all 4 wheel cylinders and the rear brake shoes. This engine runs really well. 4 speed transmission. Dual exhaust. Aftermarket Flaming River power steering rack and pinion. Also the steering column has been replaced with a tilt column. Power Top. AM/FM Aftermarket radio. As I said, I'm impressed with the body and how good it is. I like the fact that the rear quarters both have the rear drain vents. Seat belts front and rear. Cond. # 2.
