Vehicle Description
This real Super Sport (designated in the vin) is an exceptionally clean, respectable car. I'm walking around it for the first time and it's straight, shiny, fits nice, very tidy. EXTERIOR: The car presents itself as having been professionally restored. Looking down the sides, it is absolutely straight. The doors fit flush with the body like it's all one big panel. Repainted it's original color. The paint has a very polished, smooth glossy finish all the way down to the very bottom. I don't see any blisters or signs of rust whatsoever. In back all the chrome is bright and straight. Has the upgraded Caprice style tail lights with chrome bezels. The trim that goes all the way down the sides and wraps around the back is mint. It's shiny and the black insert is still fresh looking. Up front the bumper is also rechromed, the grill, emblem, bezels are all straight and shiny. The emblems, mirrors, door handles, trim around the windshield is all exceptionally nice. Even the chrome running up the vent windows are not pitted and are shiny. The SS flipper hubcaps are in really nice shape, tires look new. The jambs are very tidy and clean, weather strips and window seals have been replaced. The black convertible top looks new, has glass window. The weather strips around the frame is replaced. INTERIOR: Very nice, unabused interior. The upholstery, door panels, carpet are in really good shape. The dash pad is excellent. The instrument area is like new-chrome bezel sparkles, lenses are crystal clear, clock is rebuilt with quartz movement. Neatly installed in factory hole is a retro stereo with aux plug in glovebox. Neatly installed under the dash is small gauge cluster so you can monitor the engine's vitals. Overall the console, mirror, steering wheel, trim is very nice. Lights even work in glovebox and console. Has seatbelts front and back, that was still optional in 66. MOTOR COMPARTMENT: Very clean, tidy and proper. Washer bottle is hooked up, wiring is neat. Inner fenders and firewall are smooth metal. The engine is a recently rebuilt 350 with double hump heads, Edelbrock intake and carb, HEI ignition. Has power steering and brakes which makes it easy to drive. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is huge! Has a nice clean coat of spatter finish paint on what looks to be original dry metal. The trunk pan and 1/4s are dry metal. The full size spare and jack seems to hardly take up any room in this giant trunk. Has a new plaid mat. The jamb and bottom of trunk lid is painted nicely, has new weatherstrip. UNDERSIDE: Very clean. Has new exhaust, fuel tank and shocks. Dry, clean original metal. Floors and inner rockers are nice. Power steering Power brakes Power top Bucket seats Console Seat belts Retro stereo Dual exhaust
