Vehicle Description
Here we have a new (less than 500 miles!) 1966 Chevrolet Nova Pro Touring car showcasing state-of-the-art components, engineering, and workmanship. A fetching black on black beauty with a killer stance, this is a car with acceleration, ride, and handling befitting a 2020 machine. A 6.2L LS V-8 engine and extra strong 4L65E automatic transmission make an ideal combination for this Nova. For a little something extra, a Texas Speed VVT cam kit, fabbed aluminum intake and stainless-steel headers that flow into a custom dual exhaust system add lots of extra horsepower. With extra power comes the need for extra cooling, so there's a big Be Cool radiator with dual electric fans on board. The chassis is another work of art. Heidts components make up the subframe and suspension in front, and the four-link setup with adjustable coilovers in the back. Mini tubs make room for sticky 335 Nitto drag radials. Everything's tied together with subframe connectors for the rigidity needed to handle the power and to maximize the handling capabilities. Wilwood disc brakes provide whoa power on all four corners. The comfort level is state of the art too. The windows are tinted for a cool look and a cool interior. The interior is air conditioned by Vintage Air. Take the helm with a Grant 3-spoke leather wrapped steering wheel on an Ididit column. Your other hand rests on a B&M ratchet shifter in a custom center console. An attractive and informative dash combines Dakota Digital VHX backlit LCD information displays with upgraded gauges. Power windows and a quality sound system are pretty much expected in a build of this caliber. But a thoughtful factory-like addition is Dynamat sound insulation on the floor and firewall. It adds yet another layer of quality to the feel of the car. The 1966 Nova is an ultra-popular body style, and this one is built to ultra high performance levels
