Used 1966 Ford Mustang for sale in Floral City, FL

The Mustang created the "pony car" class of American cars, distinguished as affordable sporty coupes with long hoods and short rear decks. This 1966 Mustang Coupe is a perfect example of that. Built in Dearborn on November 19th, 1965, this car originally was equipped with a 289 2v V8 engine, a 3-speed manual transmission, and a 2.80:1 conventional axle. The interior was originally Parchment crinkle vinyl with Palomino with a front bench seat. As years went by the original transmission was swapped with a 4-speed manual transmission, and the original Antique Bronze Metallic Exterior color was changed out for a vibrant red, the interior was redone as well and turned into a raven black color...the bench seat however stayed as this was a rare option on the Pony. At this time the car is in great driving condition and with the 4-speed manual transmission in place this is a fun car to take for a spin. This is not a high end, full option classic as it has no disc brakes, no power steering, nor A/C. The body is in good condition with a solid frame and floor pans, but has some minor rust issues and paint marks which you can see in the pictures.
