1966 PONTIAC GTO CONVERTIBLE PROFESSIONALLY RESTORED - P.H.S. DOCUMENTED This numbers matching 1966 Pontiac GTO Convertible started life as a triple white YS code 335HP automatic console car with 66,000 original miles. It is a PHS documented survivor car and has just completed a ‘'ground-up'' restoration. The body is super straight, Rust free and solid. It retains all the original body panels including floors, trunk, doors and fenders it sits on the original frame with perfect gaps and fitment. This car is all metal no filler the only repairs made was with a patch panel is to the lower fenders. It was painted in the 1966 N code burgundy poly using Diamont R-M base/clear then it was cut, buffed and polished to a deep luster and show car shine The original bucket seats where completely recovered in the original parchment material with all new seat foams. The carpet and door panels were also replaced. The dash was restored with new veneer and a working AM/FM radio. All new wiring harnesses front to back. The white power top works perfectly and has a new pump, cylinders and hoses. All glass but the windshield is original all-weather stripping is new. All the stainless has been fit and polished or replaced. All chrome trim, Grill assembly parking lights, bumpers and emblems are new as well. The entire drive line is new every part in the suspension has been replaced all brake lines and components as well. The fuel tank is stainless as well as the new fuel line. Power comes from the rebuilt original motor that has been upgraded to the 360HP XS specification with pistons cam and correct tri power. It is backed by a rebuilt M21 4 speed transmission with correct console and shifter and a Posi-Trac rear with 3:73 gears. Options include: Power steering, power brakes ( 67 dual master cylinder), in-dash tach and factory gauges, wood steering wheel and shift knob, Hurst wheels with red-line tires, new exhaust manifolds and dual exhaust with correct tips. This GTO was professionally restored to be a perfect example of what everyone wants a tri power 4 speed convertible with the Hurst wheel option. It runs and drives flawlessly and is one of the nicest you will ever see. This car has less than 150 miles since it has been restored. It is new from bumper to bumper, paint, interior, rebuilt motor, trans, rear, suspension, tires, wheels, brakes, wiring, I have pictures through the process and all the receipts.
