Vehicle Description
For sale is an authentic PHS documented 1966 GTO built in CA. Has a freshly rebuilt Muncie 4 speed and a beefy 455 engine ('74 block). New aluminum radiator, new drive shaft, new starter, and rear end recently serviced. Original colors are red (Montero) with black interior. Acquired as a roller several months ago as I had extra parts from another 66 gto build that this car needed. Car is in primer and needs some metal work before paint and also needs interior (has seats). Also needs rear glass among other parts. Car currently starts and sounds great but won't stay running, so not quite running condition. Is with mechanic working towards car running/driving and my reservation price will change according to level of work done at the time of sale. Have front bumper and fender wells, both in good shape. Have some of the chrome. Has some rust but solid for 52 year old car and surprises aren't hidden under body filler. Comes with a clean Texas Title. Car is available for inspection in Houston, Texas. Willing to use an escrow service such as classiccarguy.com at buyer's cost.
