This street machine took 6 years to build and the only item that was from a kit car was the body, and even then the body was greatly modified to achieve the look you see here today. Powered by a 351ci V8, 5-speed manual and a killer color combination, this Replica is a blast to drive! It starts with the body that appears to be an early factory five body that received hours upon hours of custom hand fiberglass work that add the unique fender flares and overall look to the car. From there it was shot in a gorgeous metallic red that looks amazing in person. From there the builder comissioned a fully custom frame to be professionally built. The frame was built by Bethania Garage in Bethania, NC and the results are a car that handles as good as it looks. Lift up the hood and you'll find a built 351ci Windsor V8 with a MSD ignition system that includes a Rev-limiting system. You'll also find an Edelbrock intake and Edelbrock 4-bbl carburetor. A custom cowl at the front of the car keeps air flow directed to the oil cooler and aluminum radiator and gives it a great look up front. Bolted to the engine a Ford T-5 5-speed manual which sends power to the Ford 8.8 rear-end equipped with a highway friendly 3.27 gears. Inside, the interior was performed by Kennedy's auto interiors, and you can tell from the photos they spared no expense. The carpet was special ordered from London, England!
