Vehicle Description
This 1967 Ford Mustang GT S-Code Convertible has a 390CID engine with a stock 585CFM 4BBL Holley carburetor. The car has a Top Loader Four Speed transmission with 3.00/1 conventional rear end. The exterior color is Springtime Yellow with a black vinyl convertible top. The Deluxe Interior is black with brushed aluminum door panel and dash inserts. This deluxe option also includes a center console with the Courtesy lighting group, dash safety indicators for low fuel, open door, brake on and fasten seat belts. The current owner purchased the car in 1990. Experts, referred by a local car show judge, went through all the mechanics, inspected the body, traced serial numbers and verified its authenticity. A Marty report was obtained to substantiate their conclusion. The car has always been garaged and covered. The current owner completed a partial frame restoration a few years ago. The differential and transmission were rebuilt by Kirkland Transmission. The engine was rebuilt, balanced and blue printed by T & D Machine. The carburetor was rebuilt by the Holley factory and the engine was tuned on a dynamometer by Carburetor Connection. All City Convertibles replaced the convertible top, interior carpet, door panels and seat coverings. All other systems including suspension, steering, ignition, fuel etc. were restored using correct parts and the best available at the time. Car Toys upgraded the stereo system including an amplifier and subwoofer. Koni shocks were installed in addition to performance clutch and MSD ignition system. The paint is original and in good condition. The car has only been to a few car shows but not actually shown or judged.
