Vehicle Description
1967 Plymouth Belvedere GTX In 1967 the Belvedere GTX hit the streets for the first time in two years. It was the perfect blend of style and substance. Not too flashy or gaudy with some classy touches throughout that let you know you are in a higher end car. In short, the 1967 GTX was the first true luxury muscle car Chrysler ever built. I give you now A Red Hot (Actually Crimson Metallic) 1967 Plymouth Belvedere GTX. This is a prime example of late 60's Muscle. With less than 10,000 miles on the drivetrain it since received an overhaul. Close attention was paid to keep the car original. Exterior The entire car was repainted Crimson Metallic including the engine compartment, and trunk. Then a contrasting black stripe was added. The glass all around is in excellent shape, having new rubber trim installed. Chrome, and brite work accents throughout the car gleams like showroom new. Magnum 6 slot deluxe Rallye Wheels and new red line tires along with a new aluminized dual exhaust with correct chrome extensions has this car emit a healthy growl when you step on the gas. Interior When you swing open the driver's door and sit behind the wheel of this classic muscle car the immaculate condition of the interior truly grabs you as it was completely redone. A new vinyl headliner, door panels, and a sea of new carpeting suck you in. The seats, with horizontal pleating and a center panel of embossed Sheridan carving are very comfortable. In the new dash, is seen a working stock AM radio, as well as all gauges in working condition excepting the clock. This car still has the original key tags. Drivetrain A 440ci Super Commando with a 4-barrel carburetor on top coupled to the correct transmission: the A727 Torqueflite automatic transmission, was rebuilt within the last 7,000 miles for the engine, and 10,000 miles for the transmission. An 8.75 Sure Grip rear end is installed from the factory. Also, this beauty comes equipped with features like power steering, power brakes, power windows, and even a rear window defogger. Undercarriage Absolutely no rust (surface or otherwise) is seen, and frame as well as floor pans look very clean. A performance suspension package has been bolted on from the factory. Front and rear are equipped with power drum brakes. Noted also is a very clean factory looking trunk with correct plaid liner. A great example of a restoration to have the car remain original. Consignor stated matching numbers, and meticulous attention to factory detail. Oh! and did I mention pristine condition?? Also, many extras are included in this sale, including many original parts to be used for spares.
