One of only 1175 built, this car was assembled at the San Jose plant, modified by Carroll Shelby in his LA facility, then delivered to a dealer in Texas. The Marti Report shows it was born as a 4 speed, and one of 172 with Candy Apple Red paint. Over the years it spent time in several states then was purchased by an enthusiast for his collection near Renton, WA. It was recently given a complete frame on restoration including new interior, wiring, exhaust, chrome, brakes, tires and suspension.
