Vehicle Description
Starting point: freshly rebuilt engine, 150-160 psi compression in every cylinder, 70 psi oil pressure when hot and at highway revs, no smoke hot or cold, excellent running, rebuilt SUs, new air cleaners, new fuel pump, new master cylinders, many brake lines are new, new rotors, calipers, wheel cylinders, pads, shoes. Shocks in good condition. Wire wheels sandblasted, primed and painted. Quiet exhaust, good original top, tonneau, boot cover, chrome, trim, seats, door panels, wood dash, excellent wiring, on and on. Work we just completed replace trim piece under right side of dash, new dash top, new windshield surround and compression strip, new door seals, repainted in original red, new front valance, new rear lights, new seat belts, all gauges working, even working original Triumph AM radio. Excellent original floors, jack and knock off hammer, all in all, a very nice example. AND (of course) we could install (for a new owner) a freshly rebuilt overdrive transmission or a modern 5 speed conversion. Either 'as is' or modified, a great and very usable classic.
