Used 1968 Cadillac Eldorado for sale in Liberty Hill, TX

I have collected classic cars for 35 years. This is one of my classics from my personal collection, see others at, www.gccc.us Previous owner had motor and transmission rebuilt. Have pictures during the rebuld process. Rebuilt engine and tranny has less than 1,000 miles on them. Statement from previous owner ~~ I started restoration by tackling the biggest problems first. I had the original Eldorado engine completely torn down and rebuilt with all new parts (see attached pictures). I likewise had the transmission completely rebuilt. The car drove when I bought it, but I was informed that it had a up-shift problem. I also determined a slight knock in the engine, so I had them both rebuilt. Included in that rebuilding and continuing to this day, I have installed a new starter motor, water pump, generator, rebuilt carburetor, power steering pump, new master cylinder, shocks, wires, rotor and plugs, new AC compressor, dual exhausts, and Radio/DVD. Had the driver and passenger power windows repaired, and numerous other things I have probably forgotten. I spent $550.00 just to have the stainless steel wheel covered restored like new, and $80 for four new Cadillac insignias. I spent $40 plus shipping for that front five inch piece of hood ornament. There are lots of such little things that cost me a fortune. I had new weather stripping installed on both doors ($175). Items yet needing attention: Power seat is very slow and sluggish. Heat has a new core, but has not been installed as yet. It has no rust or dents. The undercarriage seems solid. What is left to do is relatively minor compared to what I have done. I just can't keep up with it any longer in my condition. I intended to replace the tires with new steel belted radials and give it a good paint job. It is mostly cosmetic work from here I believe. The interior has no tears, the headliner, dash and carpeting is in good shape. The trunk is very clean. I have spent about $10,000 in restoration since buying this car. It's a real head-turner. I will be happy to answer any and all questions that you might have. The heater has a new core, but has not been hooked up as yet. Whoever buys this car is basically getting $10,000 of free restoration thrown in with the asking price. New Paint in original cadillac color.New exhaust system, New wide white tires.Polished chrome and original wheel covers. Very nice Eldorado, new mechanicals and new paint !!!
