1968 Chevrolet C-10 Short Wide Bed Pickup. Unique One Of A Kind Conversion 1/2 Ton Pickup Features 'Dually' Tandem Rear Wheel Sets and a Super Heavy Duty 2 Stage Hydraulic Dump Bed. NOTE DUAL WHEELS CURRENTLY OFF TRUCK ALSO TRUCK USED FOR WORK AND HAS LOTS OF SMALK DENTS - 6 Cylinder 250engine, PS, 4 speed floor shift transmission, New Battery. This truck was basically a recent Barn Find maybe even the barn find of a lifetime. It had been in storage for many years. Was built by the original owner as a labor of love decades ago, and he did an excellent job of installing the dump bed assembly, with push button activation and easy pressure release valve. Rear Dually wheel sets mount with standard 6 lug nuts, can easily be taken back to a one wheel set if desired. Engine starts and drives out. Good oil pressure, no smoke. Clutch is good, transmission shifts well thru all gears. Drum brakes work OK (for drum brakes). Would suggest a good once over. Probably could use new tires, current set has good tread but has some side wall checking. Needs a seat cover.
