Vehicle Description
Rotisserie restored 68 Coronet RT. Stunning B5 blue in show condition. This car is not for the faint of heart but can driven anywhere on pump gas. The is a state of the art fuel injected twin turbo 440, producing around 1200HP. Needless to say all the internals are all forged, special turbo pistons, Edelbrock aluminum heads, hydraulic roller cam, huge aluminum radiator etc.It is built to handle 1,800 and can be turned up if you're willing. Obviously a car of this performance level must be built to handle this kind of power. This build was spec'd by one of the top twin turbo pro racers in the country. The engineering is simply incredible, the best of everything. The car has around 300 miles on it. If you had to estimate the cost of building something like this it would probably be in the $150K range. The rear is a Dana 60 that has been slightly shortened with 3.55 gears and forged axles. The car is mini-tubbed and still retains a stock look inside and rear back seat. Exhaust is 3" and full length out the back through stainless chrome tips. The wheels are 12.5" wide AR's with 13.5" wide Hoosiers. The frame is tied. The transmission is a Turbo 400 GM which is typically the go-to transmission at this power level. Wilwood front disc brakes, drums rear. The car could easily be switched to a pro touring look if desired. You will see that it does have a nitrous bottle in the trunk and the injectors up front, but it is not used and is only for show, Seats are $2,400 Recaro's. Visually there is no indication what is under the hood. The rear tires are the only giveaway the car has serious performance. If you absolutely have to have a show car with an engine that is simply stunning in looks and power, this is pretty much world class. The car will include a new Rallye dash with white faced gauges, please see photo. If you prefer a different dash we can arrange that. The 68 RT did not have a Rallye dash like the Charger so this is a good upgrade. This is truly a supercar and easily can compete visually and performance wise with all of those cars you see listed at $125K+. This is a fantastic deal! Contact with any questions.
