Used 1968 Jaguar XKE for sale in Morganton, NC

This car was picked up from the factory in July of 1968 by the current owner, Comes with a Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate, The car is a series 1.5 some of the old and some of the new model coming in 1969. It has always been garaged and never driven in bad weather has been caught in a rain storm or two The car had a major repair/restoration in 1983 including Paint, Mechanical, Interior at that time all issues where addressed to return car to dependable auto these repairs totaled approx. $35,000 dollars since that time the car has had approx. Four thousand miles put on it. Owner stopped driving car in 2006 & it was removed from storage in 2017 and the following work was done to get car back on road, New fuel tank, fuel sender, fuel pump, rubber lines, carburetors where removed cleaned and rebuilt , Radiator was removed and cleaned had new core in 1983 one new fan motor, new thermostat and new coolant ,oil and filter general tune-up, points, plugs, fuel filter, clutch and brake systems had fluid changed as well and one new reservoir cap with level sensor and brake light switch where replaced the speedometer, tachometer, were sent out and restored/repaired speedometer would stick at 20 mph the tachometer would not go over 1800 rpm both work great now also clock was sent out for update and new movement install works on standard AA battery now also a new bonnet stay was installed car has been driven approx. 100 miles since work was completed Car runs and drives good goes straight down road tires are from 1983 but have very little wear no side wall cracks but they are from 1983 there are no rust on tub of car, there is some type of paint problem going on & the bonnet around the louvers on drivers side there are bubbles on the corners of them will need some attention, there is standard paint chips and scratches nothing bad but they are there the paint is as shinny as ever no dents or bad scraps but the paint was done in 1983 when car was restored the car has had only one repaint in its life the top looked good since been putting top and down there is a small slices/rip forming (less than an inch) where it folds, rear window is a little clouded.
