Vehicle Description
Call or Text Greg at 636-288-9303 1968 Lincoln Continental with 462 engine and C6 transmission This car is originally from Albuquerque New Mexico. I purchased it in 2001 and have owned the car for 16 years. It is a very solid car. I have replaced or rebuilt the majority of the drive train. The car is still an all origingal car with the exception of 20" wheels, CD player, and tinted windows. I have put about 30,000 miles on the car in the last 16 years. The engine was still running strong when I decided to rebuild it. This is a leak free car, with all new fluids in it including the rear end oil. I repainted the engine compartment while the engine was out. Power steering, power brakes, power windows, power seat all work. In the last 7 years I have replaced the following: Exhaust Installed electric fuel pump near gas tank, with pressure regulator under hood, and all new gas lines Rear wheel cylinders and brake lines with new brake pads and shoes on all 4 wheels New shocks rebuilt radiator Rebuilt brake booster by Cardone Replaced all hoses and belts, including vacume lines under the hood Front and rear transmission seal, shift shaft seal, transmission pan gasket and filter, and new transmission mounts Complete engine rebuild with receipts. New fly wheel, starter, external selonoid, voltage regulator, cap and rotor with in cap module to replace the original points, water pump, alternator, motor mounts, oil pump, Had block and heads machined, cylinders did not need boring, heads were gone through and head parts were replaced as necessary, original crank was machined, all seals, bearings, gaskets, lifters, pushrods, cam, cam gears, cam chain, piston rings, brass water diverters, freeze plugs, and anything else that is in the motor is all new with 8,000 miles on the rebuild.
