Rumor has it......one of only 2 left in this specification. Excellent fiberglass body over a tubular chassis. Independent rear suspension, disc brakes, wire wheels, wood dash AND comprehensively rebuilt and prepared by an expert in the field. Brakes just done, new tires, Aeroquip brake lines, very well prepared. 1600cc Ford engine, 711M black, bored and decked 40 over, forged racing pistons, Kent 234 race cam, twin 40 DCOE Webers, headers, high compression but does not ping on premium pump gas, VERY potent performance in a 1600 pound car. Engine builder quotes 170 hp on the dyno making this one very lively road car. And potentially a fairly competitive historic racer. New oversize radiator with electric cooling fan, new heater core (and yes, it works), quick ratio steering rack, exotic wood inlaid dash, very good original leather sets, overall a nice example (for what it is). For very fast road use OR fit a roll bar, fuel cell, racing belts and have a one-of-a-kind historic race car (all work we can provide). With 69,000 original miles since new.
