Vehicle Description
1969 RS/SS Camaro Sport Coupe. Owned 23 years. Museum quality. EVERY number and code matches not just the block, transmission, and rear end. I have the P-O-P, warranty booklet, complete owner history, restoration photos and documentation. A mind blowing car. Notice how the firewall is painted factory correct. Original vinyl top, door panels, headliner, all sheet metal, all chrome pieces (re-chromed), all floor and trunk pans, all frame pieces. PPG base/clear paint that has been buffed to perfection. Born with 300 hp 350 and born with THM 350 automatic still power her nicely. The block has never been bored just new lifters and camshaft installed. It has 97K original documented miles. Original factory options are: RS (hideaway headlights option) and SS (performance/suspension options) packages, Sport Coupe package (bright trim and accents), true (and most desirable color) Hugger Orange code 72 paint, automatic transmission, AM/FM and 8 Track Player (yes they all work) tilt and power steering, date coded tinted glass including the windshield, all original and extremely nice seat/shoulder belts, power front disc brakes, front and rear (extremely rare early "narrow" style) spoilers, front and rear bumper guards, date coded spark plug wires, date coded hose clamps, date coded spiral shock absorbers, SS wheels with NOS trim rings, center caps and lug nuts on new wide oval tires, new black and white deluxe houndstooth bucket seats, vinyl top, very rare chambered exhaust, original SS hood with original ice cube trays, and SS hockey stick stripes correctly applied. NOS grille and NOS headlight bezels. Extremely detailed trunk with correct jack assembly. Original California black plates are on the car. I have all 4 sets of plates ever registered to this car. I have the original and at least 25 years of registrations. It still even has the engine hold down cables intact (these were installed by the dealers to prevent engines from self destructing if the motor mounts failed as the early designs were prone to do!). Even has the original ball joints riveted in place and the original (serviced) radiator, and Harrison (serviced) heater core in place! You won't find another one like this. This is the most sought after 1969 Chevrolet model by collectors. I have all of the date codes and casting numbers for every component down to the glass, carburetor, transmission, block, heads, rear end, alternator, and on and on. I have a complete set of NOS dual green ring A/C spark plugs for it. Won't budge one dime so don't ask. It will only continue to appreciate. NO TRADES. NO TEXTS. Don't need help selling it either. Please call or email to set up a private showing. If the ad is up it is available. I have over 50 high resolution photos of any thing you would like to see. *Vehicle Location is at our clients home and Not In Long Island *Please Call First for location and talk to one of our reps at 516 376 3471 ** FREE Consignments!!
