Fully restored, verified, and numbers matching Z/28 Camaro – not a clone! This car has the original DZ block 302 with original crankshaft; correct double hump “186” fuelie heads, aluminum finned rocker covers, “O” stamped rocker arms; high rise “snowflake” aluminum intake; Holley dual feed “DZ” 800 cfm carburetor; original 302 deep groove pulleys. Engine was completely rebuilt; new water pump and new oil pump installed, but all other components are original 302 with dates and part numbers verified by Jerry MacNeish - no modifications. Smog pump not included. All shop paperwork and records retained. The original 1969 Z/28 casting and date code water pump was also retained after engine rebuild. Car body and sub frame was rotisserie stripped and refinished show quality. Correct paint and interior per the cowl tag 57/57 – Fathom green with 723 midnight green interior. All new body bushings and fasteners were used. Body has chrome X33 trim with D80 spoiler option. Car came from factory with flat hood (not unusual –see Jerry MacNeish’s guide) and cowl hood was installed during the recent restoration. Original hood is available if new owner desires. The grille is the original Z/28 in argent silver. Original bumper guards also included. Interior is completely stock with original radio, and original 8000RPM Z/28 tach. Car also has optional U17 gauge package in center console. New fuel tank and new sending unit; stainless steel fuel and brake lines, and correct master cylinder. Correct “BU” code 12 bolt rear and original matching VIN number Muncie trans. Every major component on this car has been either restored or replaced with NOS parts. As can be seen in the pics, some “bolt-on” resto-mod performance improvements were made, but ALL the original Z/28 components that were replaced by these parts were retained and will convey with the car if the new owner wishes to keep them. Summary: 15x8 Minilite wheels. Cowl hood Global West Tubular front suspension components. Del-Alum upper and lower bushing on front control arms. Double rate front springs - 1" drop Oversized front sway bar Stainless steel brake and fuel lines 4 wheel disk brakes. 5 speed transmission. (Original matching VIN Muncie 4 speed conveys with car.)
