1969 Mustang 302 Grande coupe, with BOSS 302 stripe. The odometer on this red exterior with black deluxe vinyl interior Mustang shows 00693 miles. This is the total mileage since restoration. MECHANICAL: We started this vehicle and drove it a few miles. We found that the freshly rebuilt and tuned engine started easily and idled smoothly. The transmission works very well, and shifts easily, while the brakes pull the car to a straight stop. The steering is smooth, easy and tracks straight down the road. The amp gauge showed charging, while the oil pressure was very good and the temperature was normal. EXTERIOR: The body is in excellent condition with no rust, dings or dents. The new paint is also in excellent condition. The bodywork and paint were professionally done to a very high quality. The BOSS 302 side stripes have been added, as well as the black-out hood. The chrome is all new and looks excellent. INTERIOR: The new black vinyl upholstery is in excellent condition, as are the kick panels, door panels and carpeting. The dashboard and wood sport steering wheel are very good and so is the window glass, rubber seals and gaskets. The interior stainless/chrome trim pieces all appear to be very good. The black headliner was professionally installed, and looks excellent, with no wrinkles. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The engine and engine compartment are clean and detailed to "show" condition. There have been a lot of modifications from original including chroming parts, changing the air cleaner, intake manifold and valve covers, and adding new air conditioning unit to replace factory. CHASSIS: The undercarriage is clean, painted and detailed. This was a full rotisserie restoration with the underside, drive-train and suspension looking like new, but everything is painted black, while the car would have originally had red oxide paint on the undercarriage, blue on the engine and other colors on the suspension parts.
