Under the hood is the very desirable "S code" 390-4V V-8 engine with an automatic transmission and only 344 models were offered with this build. Likewise, only 4,000 convertible XR7's were produced during this inaugural year so there may only be a handful of these gorgeous powerhouses left in existence today.
