Used 1969 Oldsmobile 442 W-30 for sale in Ponte Vedra, FL

This is an OEM, Matching 1969 Oldsmobile 442 Holiday Coupe, not a clone, VIN: 344879M372720. All original excepting a set of new four wheel disc brakes from ClassicOlds.com, as this is a daily driver. I have the original brake set in a plastic bin in good shape. The car is Trophy blue/black stripe over (a new) black vinyl interior with new bumpers and chrome. I replaced the steering wheel with an OEM Sport (wood) wheel and replaced the carpeting again with OEM. I spent over $10,000 on the mechanicals including bringing every engine parameter within original specs while reframing from "upgrading" the internals and carburetor. However I did replace parts as necessary in the power steering and air conditioning systems and both work great. It blows cool air on hot Florida days. I purchased new OEM "Sport" wheels and contemporary red wall tires. I have but have not replaced the wood grain in the dash and center console but I did rebuild the turbo hydramatic transmission, which works great. I am contemplating upgrading the shifter to a Hurst/Olds which although not OEM was a popular aftermarket upgrade in 1969 and was an option in 1970. Also, I have some of the original paperwork and advertising which I will post photos of asap. What is left to be done is an OEM radio and the ducting behind the dash, neither I intend to get to before sale unless another deal can be worked out. This is a third owner car out of Texas with 11,861 and likely an Odometer "roll-over". To me, the story is this: A Texas "dry environment" 442 with all original and matching numbers in a cool color combo. She runs like a champ; I'll eat the advertising if she doesn't bench out well over 400 hp. as most of these did, despite the 365hp "factory" rating. Good steering and now that I upgraded the brakes, good brakes. Excellent interior and A/C that blows cool on the hottest Florida days (we're kind of connoisseurs of air conditioning down here). On the down side the W-30 tracing is middling, the ducting behind the dash needs a lot of work and she needs some interior badging - which I have. Regardless, it is a beautiful example of the rare original-from the factory Olds 442. -Greg
