Used 1969 Pontiac Firebird for sale in Harahan, LA

This 1969 Pontiac Firebird 400 has been completely updated from the Engine Compartment, Interior, Transmission, and Suspension. The suspension, including body mounts, ball joints, Idle arm, Upper and Lower Control Arms, Springs, Bilstein Shocks, Tie Rod Ends, Power Steering gear box, new brakes all around all 4 wheels. Disc brakes in front, drum brakes in rear. The engine has been completely dismantled and reassembled with upgrades including, bored out 30 over, and Balanced by Darr Engines. Also upgrades include new pistons, rods, push rods, crankshaft, lifters, Pontiac Heads 6X Heads that were rebuilt by Butler Performance, with a Compression Ratio of 9.5 to 1. A Roller Cam was installed, but it is not a radical cam, and has a nice lope to it, but nothing wild. Long Tube Doug's Headers were installed, and A "Fi-tech" 850 CFM Self tuning Fuel Injection System, and Electronic Ignition was also installed. A Hydraulic Clutch was also installed, and new Master Cylinder and Brake Booster was also installed. Everything under the hood, and on the suspension has basically been replaced. Vintage Air Condition was installed, and a Heavy Duty Aluminum Radiator with Dual Fans was installed also. The transmission was changed from a Muncie 4 speed to a Tremec 5 speed Transmission with Overdrive. The interior has been redone with OEM Seat upholstery, new door panels, carpeting, and new center console, along with 3 point seat belts. Brand new Cragar Wheels and Tires, tires are P225/60R15's, and have less than 100 miles on them. I also have the original OEM Rally II Wheels and a brand new set of tires also that I will include with the sale. The 400 engine is very strong, and estimated to be around 425 HP with all the upgrades, and with the Tremec 5 speed transmission makes a great combination for performance, and makes highway driving comfortable with the overdrive. A lot of time and work and has been put into this vehicle, and you will be impressed with the performance, and handling of this car. The reason I'm selling it is because of my upcoming retirement, and my wife and I have other plans of things we are going to do, and I will not have a place, nor the time for this fun car.
