Used 1969 Pontiac GTO (The Judge) for sale in Fort Collins, CO

Turbo 400 automatic transmission, Push button AM radio, Power Steering, Tinted glass, Safety Trac positraction, In-dash tach, Console, Power disc brakes, I have PHS documents. This car was purchased from Weidner Pontiac in Mansfield, OH on March 18, 1969 by R.H. Queen. The documentation for this car includes the original Protect-O- Plate, the original New Vehicle Warranty pamphlet, Know Your Car booklet, original Owner’s Manual, original Window Sticker and Broadcast Sheet. Craig Sparks of Lincoln, NE was the second owner of this car. The ownership of the car next changed to a gentleman who lived in West Omaha, NE. This person moved his family and his GTOs to Fort Collins, CO in the mid-1980s. He passed in the mid-1990s and the car went into his daughters trust. I purchased the car from the daughter’s trust in February 2016. The car had 57,764 miles on the odometer. There were 6,725, or 6,833, or something in-between, depending on the source, Judges produced in 1969. Verdoro Green is a more rare color than Carousel Red and, in reality, is probably a VERY rare color. Certainly, far less than 50 were produced, although PHS says there is no way to know for sure. I have performed the following checks/repairs to this car. 1. The tires were manufactured in 1994 and have almost no mileage on them. A reputable tire shop says they will be OK for noninterstate, noncontinuous driving and it will be obvious if a belt comes loose. Passenger car tires manufactured before 1995 were produced to higher standards and these tires should be OK for nonrigorous use. 2. Wiring problems (shorts) have been fixed. Loose wires have all been taped and tied up. 3. Windshield washer and hoses flushed out; washer now works. 4. Front radio speaker replaced. Radio cleaned and tested. It now works. 5. Fixed under dash lights. 6. Power steering return hose clamped and now does not leak. 7. Fuel lines have all been upgraded to modern hose. 8. Transmission drained, flushed, new pan gasket, resealed, new fluid. Also new pinion seal and O-ring on speedo gear. Speedo gear not worn. 9. Oil change, new premium filter, 10W-30 oil. Replaced dipstick tube seal. 10. Drained differential. Flushed thoroughly. New gear oil and posi additive. New gasket and sealed. 11. Flushed the radiator. BG chemical cleaner. Flushed with anti-freeze. Added new antifreeze. Added conditioner at operating temperature. 12. After I flushed and cleaned the cooling system, the heater core developed a leak. So I removed the heater core, cleaned everything, cleaned and rust proofed all surfaces, installed a new core and seal and reassembled everything. There are now no leaks in the cooling system. 13. I have had the front and rear seats out and cleaned the carpets and under the carpets. There is NO rust on the floor pans or bottom of passenger seat. I’ve neutralized the rust under driver’s seat and greased seat tracks. I did not find the build sheet. This is a VERY special car. It looks very good, maybe better than it looked from the factory. It has NOT been abused and probably has not been down the drag strip more than twice. As GTOs go, this has been a pampered car. If I were 25 years younger, I would NEVER get rid of this car. But I have a 70 Orbit Orange Judge and an original-owner 67 hardtop to keep me occupied and my son has his 65 GTO convertible that we restored for him when he was in high school. He does not want to inherit any more of my GTOs. So, this car and the 67 GTO HO red, white, white convertible that I am currently restoring must go.
