Planning for the 1969 Shelby model year began around late May of 1968, when Shelby Automotive management sat down and generated a shopping list of 1969 Shelby options. “Nice-to-haves” were proposed for various areas of the car such as the options found on this Shelby; Tilt-A-Way Steering Column, SelectAire and many others. Carroll Shelby was still actively involved in the design and manufacturing of this ’69 model, and a combination of slower sales and creative differences caused the Shelby-Ford partnership to end in the summer of 1969. Making these early ’69 Shelby GT350’s a treasured part of the true 1960’s Shelby History. For more information & additional photos, please contact Dealer Classic Chassis LLC Danny 513-374-7049
