1970 BMW 2002 E10 Runs Well - Restoration Project - new radiator - restored rear light system, all new contacts, updated sockets, new bulbs, new wires, restored lenses - Updated stereo with slight modification to the existing radio mount panel - entire panel and key tray are now in black leather. - Took apart instrument panel and re-finished white and silver parts for greater reflectivity, replaced all bulbs (see below about issues with instrument panel) - Replaced heater core. - Carpets are in pretty good shape (they've been replaced), but I would switch them out if I were restoring it. - New gas gauge - New breaks - Alternator has been replaced. - Carburetor has been rebuilt and needle valve replaced - Rear anti-roll bar installed - Battery moved to rear for more weight in trunk - Tail lights and directionals have been retrofitted and restored to - Turn signal switch has been repaired by Baker Garage in Denver. - Previous owner replaced transmission with 1974 '02 tranny. - Clutch and pressure plate have been replaced; flywheel has been refinished.
